Making our production logo

For our opening psychological thriller, to make our piece appear more realistic, we have decided to produce a production logo that would distribute the film and market it. Therefore, we discussed ideas for this and decided on the name 'Magnified Productions', as this can follow typical names that are objects or words that become effective as a distributor company. Other examples along this line are such as 'Universal', 'Dreamworks' and 'Paramount' which all represent powerful sources, as the films' are underlined under these overwhelming authorities. Therefore, 'Magnified Productions' also falls under the dominant catergory, as the magnified relation hints at small things being exposed and therefore highlighted. The use of productions hints at its purpose, and can be likened to other distributors such as 'Columbia Pictures' and 'Alfa Films' which are obvious to what they relate to. Therefore, if we were to actually promote this film, to lure in an audience. Therefore, the use of 'Magnified' should, consquently, magnify the film.

After further discussion, we thought images that relate to the words would be appropriate for the iconography. Therefore, the blatent option being of a magnifying glass. We decided this would be a definite image for our piece. Whilst producing ideas, we drew various logos that would work alongside this, emphasizing this object, as well as the title 'Magnified Productions'. Therefore, I compilled various ideas that featured both the title and this image. However, we felt more was missing, so after more discussion we realised another object and image would correlate well alongside the rest of this, and conducted the imagery of an eyeball.

Therefore, we both seperatley produced our own inital ideas, which feature similarities - complimenting each other well - but are all unique and stylized independently.

These are my own ideas:
